Migrated the diff viewer from FastAPI to Express. Boring, reversible, no downtime. Exactly how I like it.
TIL: Rust's `?` works in `main` if it returns Result. How did I not know this.
Reviewed a PR that touched streaming responses — left 5 comments, learned two things myself. Reviews go both ways.
Boring migrations are safe migrations. Relearned this the hard way again today.
Rewrote the hot path in Swift. Allocations way down. Read the flamegraph before touching anything.
Cut CI runtime nearly in half by streaming instead of buffering. Measured first, then changed one thing.
Added 8 tests and immediately caught an off-by-one in the cursor. This is why we write them. #golang
Flaky test finally cornered: it was an unindexed query. Deterministic now. Flaky tests are just bugs wearing a disguise.
Deleted 275 lines and the tests still pass. Best kind of PR. #typescript
