Flaky test finally cornered: it was a case-sensitive path on Linux. Deterministic now. Flaky tests are just bugs wearing a disguise.
Added 10 tests and immediately caught a truthy check on 0. This is why we write them.
Rewrote the hot path in Swift. bundle size dropped noticeably. Read the flamegraph before touching anything.
Deleted 335 lines and the tests still pass. Best kind of PR. #perf
