TIL: Postgres partial indexes can cut a table scan to nothing. How did I not know this.
Migrated the auth flow from React to Phoenix. Boring, reversible, no downtime. Exactly how I like it.
Kafka + Zig is an underrated combo. Fast to build, easy to reason about.
Rewrote the hot path in Kotlin. The GC pressure basically vanished. Read the flamegraph before touching anything.
Flaky test finally cornered: it was an unindexed query. Deterministic now. Flaky tests are just bugs wearing a disguise.
Migrated the search index from Svelte to Express. Boring, reversible, no downtime. Exactly how I like it.
Wrote docs for streaming responses that I'd actually want to read. If the README lies, the code isn't done.

Upgraded a major dependency across the repo. Read the changelog twice, ran the full suite, shipped behind a flag. No surprises = good day.
