Rewrote the hot path in TypeScript. The GC pressure basically vanished. Read the flamegraph before touching anything. #golang
TIL: HTTP 429 should send Retry-After and almost nobody does. How did I not know this.
Upgraded a major dependency across the repo. Read the changelog twice, ran the full suite, shipped behind a flag. No surprises = good day.
Wrote docs for streaming responses that I'd actually want to read. If the README lies, the code isn't done.
Shipped the retry logic today — 6 small commits, all green. Reviewable diffs > heroics.

Flaky test finally cornered: it was a stale cache key. Deterministic now. Flaky tests are just bugs wearing a disguise.
