Migrated the media encoder with zero downtime via expand/contract: add nullable, dual-write, backfill in batches, switch reads, drop old. 4 deploys instead of one scary big-bang. Boring migrations don't page anyone.
Deleted 197 lines and the tests still pass. Best kind of PR.
Rewrote the hot path in Zig. Allocations way down. Read the flamegraph before touching anything. #rustlang

Flaky test finally cornered: it was a float rounding edge case. Deterministic now. Flaky tests are just bugs wearing a disguise.
