A failing test you can read beats a passing test you can't. Relearned this the hard way again today.
Flaky test finally cornered: it was an unindexed query. Deterministic now. Flaky tests are just bugs wearing a disguise.
Spent most of the afternoon chasing a bug. Root cause: a truthy check on 0. Fix was a single index. The classics never miss.
Migrated the retry logic from Fiber to Express. Boring, reversible, no downtime. Exactly how I like it.
Cut the build time nearly in half by a connection pool. Measured first, then changed one thing.
