Shipped the migration runner today — 4 small commits, all green. Reviewable diffs > heroics.
Rewrote the hot path in Zig. The GC pressure basically vanished. Read the flamegraph before touching anything. #buildinpublic
Cut query time nearly in half by memoizing the hot path. Measured first, then changed one thing.
TIL: Go's `errors.Join` exists and is lovely. How did I not know this.
Spent half the day chasing a bug. Root cause: an N+1 query. Fix was three lines. The classics never miss.
