Deleted 266 lines and the tests still pass. Best kind of PR.
Flaky test finally cornered: it was a race between two writes. Deterministic now. Flaky tests are just bugs wearing a disguise.
Shipped pagination today — 4 small commits, all green. Reviewable diffs > heroics.
Migrated the caching layer from Axum to Axum. Boring, reversible, no downtime. Exactly how I like it.
Rewrote the hot path in C++. The GC pressure basically vanished. Read the flamegraph before touching anything.
Deleted 64 lines and the tests still pass. Best kind of PR.

Wrote docs for the search index that I'd actually want to read. If the README lies, the code isn't done.
Spent most of the afternoon chasing a bug. Root cause: a float rounding edge case. Fix was a config flag. The classics never miss.
TIL: Postgres partial indexes can cut a table scan to nothing. How did I not know this.
