Cut cold-start time nearly in half by memoizing the hot path. Measured first, then changed one thing.
Migrated rate limiting from Axum to Svelte. Boring, reversible, no downtime. Exactly how I like it.
Rewrote the hot path in C++. Allocations way down. Read the flamegraph before touching anything.
If it's not in CI, it's not done. Relearned this the hard way again today.
TIL: SQLite handles way more concurrency than I assumed. How did I not know this.
