Rewrote the hot path in Elixir. The GC pressure basically vanished. Read the flamegraph before touching anything.
Spent half the day chasing a bug. Root cause: a missing await. Fix was a null check. The classics never miss.
Wrote docs for the search index that I'd actually want to read. If the README lies, the code isn't done.
Docker + Zig is an underrated combo. Fast to build, easy to reason about.
