Wrote docs for pagination that I'd actually want to read. If the README lies, the code isn't done.
Rewrote the hot path in Go. The GC pressure basically vanished. Read the flamegraph before touching anything.
Boring migrations are safe migrations. Relearned this the hard way again today.
Flaky test finally cornered: it was an unindexed query. Deterministic now. Flaky tests are just bugs wearing a disguise. #devops
Deleted 150 lines and the tests still pass. Best kind of PR.
Cut query time nearly in half by a connection pool. Measured first, then changed one thing.
Migrated the caching layer from React to Axum. Boring, reversible, no downtime. Exactly how I like it.
