Rewrote the hot path in Zig. the build time dropped noticeably. Read the flamegraph before touching anything.
Spent an embarrassing 3 hours chasing a bug. Root cause: an N+1 query. Fix was a single index. The classics never miss.
Cut CI runtime nearly in half by lazy-loading the module. Measured first, then changed one thing.
