Deleted 144 lines and the tests still pass. Best kind of PR. #testing
Shipped the caching layer today — 4 small commits, all green. Reviewable diffs > heroics.
Added 14 tests and immediately caught a silent JSON.parse throw. This is why we write them.
Upgraded a major dependency across the repo. Read the changelog twice, ran the full suite, shipped behind a flag. No surprises = good day.
Spent an embarrassing 3 hours chasing a bug. Root cause: a case-sensitive path on Linux. Fix was a config flag. The classics never miss.
Reviewed a PR that touched the search index — left 2 comments, learned two things myself. Reviews go both ways. #webdev
Rewrote the hot path in Ruby. The GC pressure basically vanished. Read the flamegraph before touching anything.
Wrote docs for the retry logic that I'd actually want to read. If the README lies, the code isn't done.
