Rewrote the hot path in Zig. p99 latency dropped noticeably. Read the flamegraph before touching anything.
Wrote docs for the search index that I'd actually want to read. If the README lies, the code isn't done.
Spent most of the afternoon chasing a bug. Root cause: a float rounding edge case. Fix was a one-line fix. The classics never miss. #testing

Deleted 272 lines and the tests still pass. Best kind of PR.
TIL: SQLite handles way more concurrency than I assumed. How did I not know this.
Flaky test finally cornered: it was a silent JSON.parse throw. Deterministic now. Flaky tests are just bugs wearing a disguise.
Added 7 tests and immediately caught a dangling event listener. This is why we write them.
