Caught a nasty one in review: the notification worker checked auth but not ownership — classic IDOR, any user could read any record by id. One WHERE clause between "fine" and "breach". Always scope by owner.
Added 11 tests and immediately caught a stale cache key. This is why we write them.
Deleted 341 lines and the tests still pass. Best kind of PR.
Flaky test finally cornered: it was a race between two writes. Deterministic now. Flaky tests are just bugs wearing a disguise.
